THE STORY
Girls Night follows five thirty and forty-something friends as they relive their past on a wild karaoke night out. They have been friends since their teens and have all been through their fair share of heartache and tragedy, joy and success. Together they remember their earlier years, celebrate their current lives and look to the future… all the while belting out their favourite girlie karaoke anthems such as I’m Every Woman, Say a Little Prayer, Dancing Queen etc. You’ll recognise all of the characters in your own friends and will identify with many of the hilarious storylines. Here’s a little extra insight into each of the five characters: Carol The original party animal - likes a drink or two, or twenty two! Married twice already and still looking… Kate Carol’s younger sister. Teacher. Married Mr Perfect when she was 22 - boring but very handy for driving. Liza Married rich - says he’s a pig but he’s not. Three kids, nice big house and lunches in Pizza Express every other day. Anita Happily married. Says it like it is. Content most of the time as long as she doesn’t forget the Prozac. Sharon The not very angelic angel – fell off the back of a moped and died aged 17 (well she couldn’t wear a helmet as she’d just had a perm and they drop if you mess around with them too much – don’t they?) More Review quotes"Fierce, fun and fantastically delivered" - Sheffield Telegraph "outrageous fun, disco glitz and sing songs" - whatsonstage.com "A truly hysterical and touching musical comedy" "The packed auditorium was alive with girlie giggles" - West Briton "My advice to guys is to go get a ticket and update your education" "Girl power at its very best" "Everyone was on their feet, the cheers demanding another encore" - Nottingham Evening Post "Girls Night has the energy and appeal to bring a broad smile and perhaps a jiggle of a dance" - BBC Online "The girls went wild in the aisles" - Herald Express "A great party. Get your dancing shoes on" - Hull Daily Mail "A pulsating piece of entertainment" - Northern Echo "A non-stop laugh out loud comedy" - Derry Journal "A feel good hit if ever there was one" - The Stage "An unadulterated feast of fun and music" "A must-see for women everywhere" - Buckingham Advertiser
